Factory Worker
My background before entering the HAH network consists mainly
of factory work. After leaving school I began work in the factory
industry at the age of 18.
This environment provided me with much opportunity to learn
a greater and wider range of skills. For example, my problem
solving
skills
became quite refined after dealing with confronting issues
on a daily basis, such as machinery break down.
The basis behind my reason for entering the HAH Franchise network
was a connection to the company through a family member.
A relative has been a franchisee, and it was obvious from
his
lifestyle
that the Franchise opportunity was a good one.
By being his own boss, he could decide when and when not
to work. This is a clear benefit for family men who would
like
to spend
more time with their wives and children but don’t get to
when working a regular full time job. He could schedule jobs around
upcoming events and always ensure that he was there to be a part
of it.
Being self employed also provides financial stability which
is a relief in the current economic climate. There is
always plenty
of work to be done which provides comfortable living
for the whole family, because there is only one wage to
pay.
Another determining factor in my decision is the help
and support of not only the office staff at HAH, but
the other
Franchisees
within the network nationwide. This is comforting as
a new Franchisee, to know that when any issues arise,
other
hubbies
can be consulted
for advice and tips. Because the network are not competing
with each other, there is always an apparent willingness
to assist
another ‘hubby’ that
needs some direction.
Along with this, the marketing provisions made by Head
Office supply a constant flow of PR resulting in
regular work all
over the country.
Not only that, but the technology package that is
provided upon start up with HAH greatly assists in cutting
down
time wastage
and money loss. By being fully mobile and electronic,
all ‘hubbies’ are
able to receive payment of the work completed upon completion instead
of waiting for the customers to pay the invoice that was mailed
out to them.
